Commercial Aviation Safety
by Clarence C. Rodrigues & Alexander T. Wells
It‘s a new world in commercial aviation safety. This fourth edition of the premier resource in the field is thoroughly revised and updated to serve the safety needs of commercial aviation in the United States.
This text offers the best guidance on today's security concerns on the ground and in the air, changes in systems and regulations, new maintenance and flight technologies, and recent accidents. Commercial Aviation Safety integrates the latest research on factors in accidents into the most comprehensive, up-to-date, and systematic reference on the principles and regulatory practices of commercial aviation safety and security. With the introduction of co-author Clarence C. Rodrigues, Commercial Aviation Safety broadens its field of study to include regulatory information on OSHA, EPA, and TSA.
Wells (professor emeritus, aviation, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University) and Rodrigues (applied aviation science, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University) have added new material on today's ground and air security concerns, changes in systems and regulations, and new maintenance and flight technologies to this fourth edition of a text for students, especially those with a limited background in the subject, enrolled in aviation safety and/or management programs and college or university flight programs. With the introduction of coauthor Rodrigues, the book broadens its field of study to include regulatory information on OSHA, EPA, and TSA.
